Commitment to his/her denomination

The local pastor has the opportunity to work with Civil Air Patrol programs in both spiritual and humanitarian areas. Joining with other professionals in the community, he/she broadens their ministry with the opportunity to do community service and to provide spiritual guidance. Civil Air Patrol chaplains frequently participate in community memorial services and ecumenical faith group activities.  They are also called upon as pastoral caregivers during local or national emergencies.  Lastly, one of the more exciting and vital aspects of CAP chaplaincy is the unique opportunity it affords to work directly with young men and women.
